The Center for Enhancement of Mathematics Education. Addresses the continuum of mathematics education from kindergarten through college. Our focus is primarily on enhancing content and pedagogy of pre-service and in-service teachers, with the ultimate goal of improving readiness for college level mathematics among students in the Inland Empire.

The program recruits high achieving local students who are already connected to the community and familiar with the student population with whom they will be working. 10 scholarships will be awarded each year.
Supporting Teachers to Increase Retention. Develop, implement, evaluate and disseminate. The results of a comprehensive professional development program for secondary level mathematics teachers. Improve the retention of secondary mathematics teachers as evidenced by an increase in the number of CMP STIR teachers who are retained each year.
